Sallie Sompayrac, Facilitator for Copperhill Awake America Prayer Meetings, welcomed everyone and gave the Invocation, which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Billy Acton. Then fervent prayers were offered by the prayer warriors for the following: our Military, First Responders, National/Local/State Government Leaders, Unity in the body Of Christ, Media in America, Businesses, Repentance/Revival for America, America's Youth/Revival for Youth/Human Trafficking, Persecuted Church, Education and Leaders, Pastors/Christian Leaders/their families, Unborn Children/Family Restoration, Israel/peace for Jerusalem.

Celebrating their 16th Anniversary, the Awake America Blue Ridge, Georgia, Prayer Meeting was held on Thursday, September 11, 20225, at the Gazebo in the Downtown Blue Ridge Park. What an honor for the Voices Of Hope Evangelistic Team to participate with Lydia Long, Coordinator of Awake America Prayer Meetings and Dennis Gorges - Facilitator for Blue Ridge Awake America Prayer Meetings, as well as many faithful prayer warriors in praying for America and her Leaders.
Dennis Gorges welcomed everyone and Blue Ridge Mayor Rhonda Haight gave the Invocation, which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Then everyone joined in singing "The Star-Spangled Banner." The Team then joined other prayer warriors in offering fervent prayers for the following: our Military, First Responders/Medical field/Doctors/Nurses, National/Local/State Government Leaders, Unity in the body Of Christ, Media in America, Businesses, Repentance/Revival for America, America's Youth/Revival for Youth/Human Trafficking, Persecuted Church, Education and Leaders, Pastors/Christian Leaders/their families, Unborn Children/Family Restoration, Israel/peace for Jerusalem.
Dennis Gorges gave the Benediction and Lydia Long gave closing comments. Quoting her Facebook post:
"To God be the Glory for all He has done in and through all of the prayers made in Blue Ridge. Today commemorates the 24th anniversary of 9/11 and the 16th Year of AAPM. As we gathered in the city park gazebo, prayers loudly rang out from the hearts of all present.
I'm amazed at the steadfast faith and resilience our nation has. Yesterday was another day that will forever change our nation. As we mourn the loss of a father, husband, and daddy, we also lost a modern day forefather. Charlie Kirk has begun a movement that will carry us into full on revival. He laid the ground work for this generation to build upon, "The Kingdom of God."
May we all pray for his wife, Erika, his son, daughter, and the Kirk family as they navigate through the coming months and years.
There's always great recompence having done the will of God. The Lord is hearing our prayers and collectively through great sacrifices will come REVIVAL.
