Celebrating the one year anniversary of Monroe/Walton Co. Awake America Prayer Meetings on Thursday, October 25, 2018, many heartfelt prayers were offered to God for America and her leaders. These Awake America Prayer Meetings are held at the Community Center in Monroe, Georgia, on the fourth Thursday of each month at 11:59 a.m. The Voices Of Hope Evangelistic Team's Fire Choir was blessed to participate by leading the group in singing "Power In The Blood Medley" and closing the Prayer Meeting with "We've Got To Get America Back To God."
In honor of Veterans Day, the Voices Of Hope Evangelistic Team's Fire Choir ministered in song at Cameron Hall Assisted Living Center in Ellijay, Georgia, on Monday, November 12, 2018. The Fire Choir led everyone in singing "God Bless America," then sang the patriotic song "I Am Thankful To Be An American" and presented the patriotic musical, "Heal Our Land."
On Sunday, November 4, 2018, Rachel's Chapel Congregational Holiness Church celebrated Veteran's Day a week early. Mrs. Genevieve Reid arranged the ceremony honoring Veterans and gave a speech in tribute to Veterans. She also presented the Veterans with a Certificate Of Appreciation. The Voices Of Hope Evangelistic Team's Fire Choir led the congregation in singing "God Bless America," then ministered in song with the patriotic mini-musical, "Heal Our Land."

They also led the congregation in singing "America The Beautiful/America," accompanied by Connie Davis on piano and Nathan Sowers on guitar.

The Voices of Hope Evangelistic Team's Fire Choir ministered in song at the Old Time Tent Revival held at 5000 US-74, Murphy, NC. beginning on Friday, May 4, 2018 and going through Sunday, May 13, 2018. The Fire Choir led the congregational singing each night.
Christ For All People Ministries hosted the revival which featured Evangelist Jim McKeral, Pastor Tommy Hayes, Evangelist Gary Keylon, Pastor Mark Reid and Pastor Chris Rumsfeld preaching during the 10-day revival. On Saturday, May 5th, free BBQ was provided to all who attended.
And on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, the Voices of Hope Evangelistic Team's Fire Choir received a blessing as they ministered in song at PruittHealth Care in Blue Ridge, Georgia. In celebration of National Nursing Home Appreciation Week, the Fire Choir was joined by an enthusiastic group and they sang favorite gospel hymns.

On Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2018, the Voices Of Hope Evangelistic Team's Fire Choir ministered in song and provided the sound system at the Community Thanksgiving Open Table, held at the Fannin County High School Cafeteria and hosted by the Good Samaritans of Fannin County.
At this year’s Interdenominational Labor Day Bar-B-Q, in the downtown Blue Ridge City Park andsponsored by the Good Samaritans of Fannin County, the Voices of Hope Evangelistic Team’s Fire Choir opened “The Gospel and Bluegrass Music” with several sing-along medleys of favorite hymns and other inspiring songs. They closed their portion of the music with the patriotic mini-musical, “Heal Our Land,” arranged by Russell Mauldin and created by Russell Mauldin and Sue C. Smith.
The Voices Of Hope Evangelistic Team also provided the sound system for the entertainment throughout the day.
The Good Samaritans of Fannin County is an open association of area churches that join hands across denominational lines raising benevolent funds to help Fannin County neighbors in need. The Good Samaritans of Fannin County have sponsored the Labor Day Bar-B-Q yearly since 1981, and it is their primary fund-raiser. The Bar-B-Q is held rain or shine.
